Yesterday (Monday) would have been a bad day for wearing a cap, hat, bonnet … anything … Wind gusts were in the 30 plus mph range several times, the highest I saw recorded at the local airport was 52 mph at 7:15 a.m.

31 degrees at 5 a.m. this morning … Forecast for today, sunny, with a high near 48, calm wind in the 5 to 7 mph range. Increasing clouds with a low around 35. Wednesday, a slight chance of showers between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. High near 60 and a 20% chance of precipitation.

NFL score from last night’s action … Pittsburgh Steelers 26 – Cleveland Browns 14. The upcoming weekend concludes regular season play … Some pack up the gear, others begin playoff action … weekend of January 16.
