We see tension in our county, in our state, our nation and around the world. Wonder what would happen if we could begin by being more respectful of others here in Bladen, if our political parties and members of Congress, our Legislators, Governors and our President could show leadership by ‘toning down the rhetoric?” It may not stop all, but so many feel their calls for help are not being heard.
Can we not be different but respectful. It doesn’t have to be ‘my way or no way’.
I know, there are ‘bad eggs’ around us. We must be prepared to deal with them, using whatever tactics are required and by supporting our law enforcement community, and if we have ‘bad eggs’ in their ranks, identify and deal with them.
Republicans begin their Convention today in Cleveland, Ohio. It will continue through Thursday. You can see and hear it all on any number of networks. Should be entertaining.
