Ever feel as though the senior citizens are being discriminated against in cyberspace? Maybe just senior citizens who have a memory issue? Count me in … every place I go, so it seems … I need to update my ID and password … Can’t remember what else.
The rain came down ’bout 6 p.m. yesterday in our area … and there was a flood for a few minutes … Checked the local weather station … between 3/4ths and an inch of rain between 5:45 and 7 p.m., no doubt, time and rainfall amounts varied depending on location…
We need to all lift up a prayer for our nation … so much controversy … The good book says, “Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself” I dropped out of politics a long time ago … Not sure who is right and who is wrong … All need to use a little more common sense…
I remember as County Commissioner in the late ’70s and early ’80s … we would be working on a budget … few if anyone attended our meetings … We were bound by law to have a meeting for public input … Most of the time, could just about tell you who would be there and what they would say … don’t raise taxes, need to cut taxes … but many wanted better schools, additional services, etc. I doubt there have been many changes over the years … different folks, same tune … I guess … I don’t go there anymore…

In the mid ’50s and early ’60s, news did not travel at today’s pace … Keeps folks, as old folks would say, “stirred up”…
Look on the positive side … crops in our area appear to be pretty good … economy appears to be slowly “getting better” … Many companies, large and small, are still looking for a few more employees who will give a day’s work for a decent wage…
I think I would like to win the lottery … so I could employ a full-time person to keep my ID and passwords updated…
