The new 7th Congressional District is a little more compact … consists of Bladen, Columbus, Robeson, Brunswick, New Hanover, Pender and about half of Cumberland … Candidates already lined up … and include … at least 4 Democrats and 2 Republicans … Was a little curious if David Rouzar would file in a district nearer to his original residence in Johnston County … but that is OK under current law, candidates are allowed to run anywhere in the state (my understanding) …
