I often think back to yesteryear when all work was done by mule/horse drawn equipment … Hot, dirty work … made better by an ice cold Pepsi or Coke, mid-morning or mid-afternoon or both … or just a cool drink of water from a bucket with a dipper and a promise of a fishing trip by the family to a nearby pond or stream … a form of bribery … It was not as bad as it sounds … Most were in the same situation…
