Hurricane Mathew, based on current info, is likely to come calling in southeastern North Carolina Saturday and Saturday night. Plan for strong winds and heavy rainfall.
It is expected to be a category 2 storm by the time it reaches the Tar Heel state with winds in the range of 100 MPH. Even if it doesn’t deliver a direct hit, it is expected to have a huge effect on the area.
I ‘dread’ the thought of being without utility services, but usually one of the conveniences that takes a ‘beating’.
