Thoughts While ShavingThursday, all over again… Greetings…

Checking weather info… Yesterday’s high temp was 83, low temp in the 50s… Just a few weeks ago… Highs in the 90s… More changes, shortly…

Mostly sunny today, with a high near 83.  Partly cloudy, tonight with lows around 63.  Friday, a slight chance of showers after 2 p.m.  Mostly cloudy, with a high near 82 and a 20% chance of rain.

Looking ahead, Saturday night lows around 47.  Sunday (Church Day) highs near 68… Sunday night, lows in the mid 40s.

Cotton picking time… fields as white as snow…

I know I have mentioned many times, there were no options in the 50s and 60s… pick it by hand and weigh it in the field at the end of the day… And, there were some good cotton pickers… not me… but I tried…

Peanuts turned up in the field, just right for picking, or will be soon… Still some corn around, but less every day…

Large equipment on our roadways, moving from field to field… PATIENCE, please…

NFL game tonight… Chicago Bears vs Washington Commanders (still have trouble with name change). Gametime 8:15 p.m. tonight…

High School fall sports as well… including Jayvee football tonight… John Clark covers it all on our Sports Page.

We have been covering news, sports, weather and more for over 16 1/2 years on BladenOnline. Have a hard time realizing… It all began on February 1, 2007… I remember very well…

Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years just a few weeks away…

Remember All-Night gospel singing… Big name groups in the Lumberton and Fayetteville areas… Statesman, LeFevres, Blackwood Bros, Happy Goodman Family… and many more…
