ST PAULS – East Bladen’s Jacob Knuth and Johnny Alvarado and West Bladen freshman Demon’tre Love all qualified for the All-Southeastern Conference Cross Country team by finishing in the top ten in the conference’s championship meet at Red Springs.
Knuth, a sophomore, finished 2nd to Clinton’s Cristian Cruz in the championship meet at Red Springs. Knuth was runner-up in 3 regular season meets and placed 3rd in another meet.
Love captured 4th place honors in the conference meet. In his last meet of the regular season, Love finished 3rd at Red Springs and posted a trio of 5th place finishes in other regular season meets.
Alvarado was a 5th place finisher in the conference meet and during the regular season recorded a 5th place finish at St. Pauls and 8th at Red Springs.
