East Bladen’s baseball and softball teams and West Bladen’s baseball team will be participating in Easter Tournaments with games beginning Saturday and continuing through Tuesday or Wednesday.

Coach Grant Pait’s East Bladen Eagles (6-5) begin play Saturday in Terry Sanford’s 2024 Bulldog Baseball Invitational at 7 p.m. against Western Harnett (4-8). If the Eagles win, they play Monday at 7 p.m. An East Bladen loss would put the Eagles in a 1 p.m. game Monday.

Four games will be played Saturday, Monday and Tuesday at 10, 1, 4 and 7 each day. Other teams competing are: Gray’s Creek (8-4), Pinecrest (8-2), Scotland (7-2), Triton (6-5), Terry Sanford (7-3) and Wayne Country Day (13-1). East Bladen reached the championship game in last year’s tournament before dropping a 12-9 decision to host Terry Sanford.

Coach Wade Pait’s West Bladen Knights (4-5) will open play in the 2024 South View High Invitational Saturday at 4 p.m. against South Columbus (6-3). The Stallions won a pair of close earlier meetings this season by scores of 2-0 and 5-4.
