Government meetings scheduled today include Bladen County Board of Commissioners at 6:30 in the Superior Courtroom of the Bladen County Courthouse, Bladen County Board of Education at 6, Bladenboro Board of Commissioners at 6 and East Arcadia Board of Commissioners of 7. The White Lake Board of Commissioners are scheduled to meet Tuesday at 7 p.m.
2. Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton leads the New England Patriots (2-5) against the New York Jets (0-8) in Monday Night Football on ESPN. Kickoff at 8:15. New England has won eight straight against the Jets.
3. Virtual Candlelight Tour: Saturday, Nov. 21, 6 p.m., Moores Creek National Battlefield via Facebook (click here). Park staff and volunteers will tell stories surrounding the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge fought Feb. 27, 1776.
