NASHVILLE, TN – The Tennessee Titans built a 24-3 lead en route to a 24-17 National Football League victory Sunday over the Chicago Bears that snapped a 2-game Titans losing streak.

Elizabethtown’s Larrell Murchison played in his seventh game of the season on the defensive line for the Titans who reached the midway point of the season in first place in the AFC South Division with a 6-2 record.

The Titans A.J. Brown caught 4 passes for 101 yards including a 40-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill who completed 10-21 passes for 158 yards also threw a 2-yard TD pass to tight end Jonnu Smith that stretched the Titan lead to 24-3.

Defensive back Desmond King returned a Bear fumble 63 yards for another Titan touchdown. The Titan defense held the Bears to only 2 third down conversions out of 15 attempts.

The Titans will host the Indianapolis Colts Thursday night at 8:20 EST.
