Here are Three Things to Know for Sunday, October 18:
1. Bladen County Board of Commissioners meeting, Monday, 6:30 p.m., Superior Courtroom in the Bladen County Courthouse in Elizabethtown.
2. The Bladen County Health Department is having a Flu Drive Thru on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The department is located at 300 Mercer Mill Road in Elizabethtown. Insurance accepted includes Medcost, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Medicare and Medicaid. Cost without insurance is $75 for high-dose (ages 50 and older), $50 for regular and preservative free. Payment will be required at time of service. Photo ID and face coverings will be required. 3. A Candy Walk is planned Thursday at the Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown. It will begin at 6 p.m. and continue while supplies last. Children are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween best to walk through and pick up candies and crafts in the parking lot.
