A loaded grain truck dumped its load after the trailer broke and snarled traffic on NC 41 East on Thursday afternoon. The incident led to the closure of the road between Harrells and White Lake.
Chase Lancaster, with the Bladen County Fire Marshal’s Office, said that no injuries were reported and he expected the road to be closed for a couple of hours due to the clean up.
Lancaster said White Lake Fire Department, Bay Tree Lakes Fire Department, Bladen County EMS and North Carolina Department of Transportation, North Carolina Highway Patrol are on the scene.
