WHITEVILLE – West Bladen finished third and East Bladen placed fourth Monday in the Three Rivers Conference golf match at Land O Lakes Golf Club.

It was the fourth consecutive match victory for the Stallions who were led by Jonathan Williams who earned medalist honors with an 84, and teammate Caleb Click who carded an 86. West Bladen’s Chad Garner finished sixth with a 91.

South Columbus won the team competition with a 353 total. West Columbus totaled 388 to take second place followed by West Bladen with a 401. East Bladen was fourth with a 432 total.

The remaining teams competing were: Red Springs (434), Whiteville (443), and St. Pauls (465). Fairmont only brought three golfers and South Robeson only brought one so neither team could compete in the team competition.

Other West Bladen golfers competing: Devin Smith (98),Wyatt Bordeaux (103), John Brust 109 and Jared Storms (117).

Nick Norris claimed scoring honors for East Bladen with a 98. Jason Baxter and Alex Avellaende carded identical 109 scores, and Chance Hester finished with a 116.

The next Three Rivers match will be Monday at Diamondback.
