DUE WEST, SC – West Bladen grad Trevor Lesane batted 4-for-7, scored 3 runs and drove in 3 as his Erskine Flying Feet split a non-conference season-opening double-header with Lander Saturday.

Lesane walked and scored a run in the second-inning of Erskine’s 7-6 victory in the opener. The Tar Heel native knocked in Jaisen Randolph with a single to ignite the Flying Feet’s 4-run winning rally in the 9th inning. Lesane later scored the second run of the inning.

Lander won the nightcap 17-6. Lesane stole a base and scored a run in the first inning. The senior outfielder slammed a 2-run double in the fifth inning that scored Shawn Knox and Greg Sanders.

The Flying Feet will travel to Lander Monday.
