BLADENBORO – East Bladen defeated West Bladen 3-1 Wednesday night in non-conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 21-25 and 25-17.

Coach Jordan Mazur’s Lady Eagles improved to 2-3 and will visit Midway Monday. West Bladen, now 2-4, will host South Columbus Monday.

Senior Maddie Walters pounded in 11 kills, 2 aces, 5 service points and had an assist and 27 attacks for West. Senior Trinity Meares stuffed the stat sheet with 10 kills, 1 ace, 4 service points, 20 attacks and 4 digs. Senior Jenna McLean racked up 6 kills, 5 service points, 3 aces, 24 attacks and a dig.

Lady Knight sophomore Natalee Sykes dished out a whopping 17 assists and knocked in 6 service points, 4 kills and had 10 attacks and a dig. Freshman Greer Pope fired in 6 service points, an ace, 3 kills, 14 attacks and distributed 6 assists.

Senior Kiera Lewis banged in 3 kills, 5 service points and 23 attacks for West. Sophomore Emme Bryant came up with 5 digs, and junior Alina Chavez added a service point and 3 attacks.
