ELIZABETHTOWN – South Columbus defeated East Bladen 3-1 on Tuesday night in Three Rivers Conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-11, 25-12, 16-25 and 25-15.

Freshman Acee Campbell hammered in 6 kills, 2 aces, 3 service points, a block and had 3 digs for the Lady Eagles. Junior Kayleigh Raynor slammed in 6 kills, 3 aces, 3 service points and had 3 digs.

Senior Cybil Campbell knocked in 5 service points, 2 kills, 2 aces and had 5 digs for East Bladen. Junior Katie Evans drilled in 8 service points and 3 blocks. Senior Lorna Mendell blasted in 7 kills and 4 blocks.

Senior Ruth Ward racked up 4 service points, 2 kills and 4 digs for the Lady Eagles. Sophomore Alexus Mitchell contributed 3 service points, an ace and 2 digs. Junior Cheylee Mathis finished with 2 kills, 2 blocks, an ace and a service point.

East Bladen will travel to Red Springs on Thursday.
