The Town of White Lake is urging people to be patient and use caution prior to the July 4th fireworks show planned to begin at dark.
The annual July 4th Fireworks Show is a celebration of the country’s independence and freedom. This year, America is celebrating her 247th birthday.
Tuesday evening at dark the fireworks tradition continues. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and their families to enjoy the fireworks at the local White Lake beach.
White Lake offers entertainment for all before the fireworks show with an arcade, miniature golf, gift shops, a water park, and several restaurants.
Town of White Lake Mayor H. Goldston Womble, Jr. reminded motorists, traffic will be heavy during the holiday celebration. In a press release Mayor Womble stated, “Please be careful and have patience.” He added, “Please watch out for pedestrians walking.”
