Jellyfish are marine animals hailed from the zoological group of cnidarians. These creatures are characterized by their bell-shaped body, jelly-like texture, and the long tentacles that sprout from them. The natural habitat of jellyfish is the sea, and in their regular activity, they float, sail, and feed. Nevertheless, jellyfish are a wondrous species in diversity and behavior.

- Jellyfishes are not fishes. The name jellyfish is not scientifically accurate for these marine creatures due to they are not fishes; nonetheless, the term medusozoas is. A fish is characterized for having a skeletal body. However, jellyfishes or medusozoas are boneless.
- Jellyfish are carnivores. The primary diet of a jellyfish depends on fish, plankton, squid, shrimp, crustaceans, eggs, and other jellyfish.
- Jellyfish can live high up near the tide. Likewise, some jellyfish live at the bottom of the sea and only appear in the wave when the current transfers them.
- Jellyfish are one of the most popular diets for sea turtles.
- 95% of the body of jellyfish is water. Jellyfish texture is soft and delicate; therefore, these marine beings must live in their aquatic habitat.
- Jellyfish do not have a brain or a heart. These fantastic marine creatures lack a complex nervous system and limit themselves to using a simple sensory system to identify and catch their food.
- The cubozoa or box jellyfish is a species of jellyfish within the range of the most dangerous. Generally, jellyfish are not aggressive beings, nor do they mess with other beings. However, the cubozoa is distinguished by its extraordinary ability to inject potent poison into its victims; In most cases, it can cause severe injury and even death.
- There is an immortal jellyfish. The average lifespan of jellyfish is six months to two years. El hábitat natural de las medusas es el mar y, en su actividad habitual, flotan, navegan y se alimentan. Sin embargo, las medusas son una especie maravillosa en diversidad y comportamiento.
