East Bladen senior running back Xavier Wooten was named by the Fayetteville Observer Sunday in their ‘Game Balls: Week 2’ section that recognizes the standout performances from Friday night’s high school football games in the Fayetteville region.
Wooten ran for 155 yards on 24 carries and scored on touchdown runs of 1, 3 and 26 yards as the Eagles opened their season with a 35-16 victory over Clinton.
