Three men were arrested Monday night for a pair of break-ins at two hog farms owned by Murphy Brown Farms located south of Bladenboro, according to Bladen County Sheriff James McVicker.

The men were found to have an estimated $11,000 in stolen property when their pickup truck and trailer was stopped near the Bladen and Robeson County line, McVicker said. Among the items were a lawn mower and power tools.

William Coty Reece, 33, of Fayetteville, Anthony Victor Porter, 46, of Maysville Lane in Tar Heel, and Zed Michael Lambert, 30, of Lumberton, were each charged with two counts of breaking and entering, larceny, and possession of stolen goods. All are felony charges.

The men were taken to Bladen County Jail and bond was set at $100,000 each, McVicker said.
