The holidays can be hard to deal with for a lot different reasons. Folks looking for ways to remain stress-free may take the following five tips to help them remain healthy in mind this holiday season.

 

1. Don’t over schedule. Be responsible with your time and don’t over book yourself.

2. Don’t expect your holidays to be like they were when you were a child. Nothing ever stays the same and you. Find small things to be grateful for in the present and the past.

3. Feeing empty inside? Volunteer your time. Feed the homeless. Give out toys at the Boys and Girls home. Visit people in the hospital.

4. Don’t over indulge. Celebrate, but don’t eat or drink too much. Everything needs to be in moderation. You don’t want to set yourself up for hangovers or extra weight.

5. No one is perfect. Take some “me” time. Everyone needs some time to relax. Don’t let the holiday rush make you forget yourself.
