A Rise Against Hunger event is planned for Saturday, May 12, beginning at 9 a.m. at Kyle’s Farm in Harrells, NC.Rise Against Hunger International is a non-profit hunger relief organization which packs and distributes nutritious food which is distributed worldwide to areas impacted by natural disasters and emergencies, providing nourishment to those who have basic individual needs, and empowering communities to become self-sustaining.
To volunteer for this event, call 910-532-2061. Everyone is welcome to come out and help pack food. Contributions are also welcome and checks can be made payable to Epworth United Methodist Church.
