ELIZABETHTOWN – In a penalty kick marathon, Williams Township outlasted Tar Heel in the third round of a penalty kick shootout Wednesday to claim a Waccamaw Middle School Conference victory at Bladen County Park.
Regulation play ended with the two teams tied 1-1. Brooke Priest fired in the only Tar Heel goal in regulation play.
The Lady Panthers are now 5-4 on the season and will close out their season Thursday at 4 p.m. against Elizabethtown at Bladen County Park.
