Dixie Youth BaseballElizabethtown rallied from a 13-1 deficit to defeat West Robeson 16-15 Saturday night in an opening round Dixie Youth Baseball District 9 Majors Supplemental Tournament game.

West Robeson took a 15-10 lead into the bottom of the sixth, but walks to Ayden Piland, Jayson Baxter, Jackson Bostic, Jaylen Robinson, Kory Smith, Jadacus Register, Will Hester, Malcolm Bolden and Ahmad Powell produced 6 runs.

The walk to Bolden forced home Smith with the tying run, and the walk to Powell brought in Register with the winning run. West Robeson pitching walked 19 Elizabethtown batters in the game.

Hester reached base on an error and raced home with the first Elizabethtown run when Bolden slammed a double in the third inning.

An 8-run fourth inning pulled the winners to within 13-9. Allen Owens drew a walk and darted home when Luke Norton walloped a double. Zack Butler, Tyler Hill, Baxter and Bostic drew walks that forced home Norton and Butler.

Robinson was hit by a pitch that forced home Hill, and Smith walked to force home Baxter. Register reached base as Bostic scored, and Hester blasted a bases-loaded double that scored Robinson, Smith and Register.

Powell walked and scored in the fifth inning to pull Elizabethtown to within 15-10.

Norton was the winning pitcher for Elizabethtown. Norton, Hester and Bolden hammered doubles in the game, and Baxter cracked a single.

Baxter, Bostic, Robinson, Smith and Register scored two runs each for Elizabethtown. Powell, Owens, Hester, Piland, Norton and Butler scored one run each.
