FAIRMONT- Isaac Mendoza garnered medalist honors and West Bladen won their match Monday at Fairmont Golf Course against Red Springs, the host team.
West Bladen had the required number of 4 golfers competing. Red Springs only fielded 2 golfers Monday, and East Bladen was unable to compete Monday.
Mendoza shot a 100 to edge Red Springs’ Brezlynn Locklear who carded a 101 by a single stroke. Other West Bladen players and their scores included Bryson Pittman (104), Chase Gordon (118) and Karlee Roberts (120).
West Bladen’s next match will be the Three Rivers Conference championship at Vineyard Golf at White Lake.
