ELIZABETHTOWN – Whiteville Central edged Elizabethtown 2-1 Thursday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer action.
Central scored the game’s 1st goal, but Elizabethtown’s Destiny Gore fired in the tying goal 8 minutes before halftime. The Lady Hornets banged in a goal 5 minutes into the 2nd half and held on for the victory.
Elizabethtown will host Tar Heel next Thursday.
