CLARKTON – Cabria Baldwin scored 2 goals and led Clarkton School of Discovery to a 4-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls soccer victory over Tabor City Thursday.
Baldwin staked the Lady Blue Devils to an early lead with her 2 goals. Ellie Kinlaw knocked in a goal just before halftime to stretch the lead to 3-0. With minutes left in the game, Layla Lent drilled in a penalty kick for the final Clarkton goal.
“Daniel Cotton (Clarkton goalie) and her amazing defense shutdown Tabor City’s offense,” said Lady Blue Devil Coach Laura Hall.
Clarkton School of Discovery will travel to Nakina Monday.
