ELIZABETHTOWN – Tar Heel scored a trio of 2nd half goals and defeated Elizabethtown 3-0 Monday in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer action.
Lluvia Sanchez Orellana, Leyla Flores-Garcia and Oasis De La Cruz Labra fired in 1 goal each. Abigail Dew recorded her 2nd straight shutout in goal for the Lady Panthers.
Tar Heel improves to 2-0 and will host East Columbus Thursday. It was the season opener for the Lady Cougars who will travel to West Columbus Thursday.
