DUBLIN – The 82nd Airborne Division All-American Chorus is scheduled to perform at Bladen Community College on Friday, February 24 as part of All-American Family Night.

The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. inside the college’s main auditorium and also will feature performances from Paul R. Brown Leadership Academy, Bladen County Schools, Emereau, and Elizabethtown Christian Academy. It’s free and open to the public.

Food trucks will be available on campus between 5 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. The doors will open at 6 p.m.

All-American Family Night is an opportunity for families and friends to come together and enjoy an evening of music and entertainment while recognizing and honoring military veterans.

“We are thrilled to have the 82nd Airborne Chorus perform at Bladen Community College,” BCC President Dr. Amanda Lee said. “Their music is truly inspiring and embodies the values of our community. We look forward to welcoming the community to our campus for a wonderful evening of entertainment.”

The 82nd Airborne Division All-American Chorus (pictured above from its web site) is a premier musical ensemble of the United States Army. Comprised of active-duty soldiers from the Fort Bragg-based 82nd Airborne Division, the Chorus has been entertaining audiences around the world since 1945. Their repertoire includes a variety of music styles, ranging from patriotic and Americana to contemporary and classic rock.
