West Bladen grad Rahu Purdie tossed in 10 points and dished out 3 assists Saturday as his Lander Bearcats rolled past Flagler 85-58 to remain atop the Peach Belt Conference.
The Bearcats are now a perfect 4-0 in Peach Belt play and 10-3 overall.
Purdie connected on 4 of 7 shots from the field, made 1 of 3 three-point shots and hit 1 of 2 foul shots. The 5-9 guard also grabbed one rebound.
The White Oak native drove for a lay-up and buried a 3-point shot to give the Bearcats an early 10-7 lead. Lander led 45-32 at halftime.
Purdie dropped in a lay-up then sent an assist to Travis Fredimon for another Lander lay-up and a 51-42 lead. Purdie added a free throw and a jump shot in the closing minutes.
The Bearcats will travel to Young Harris College (GA) Wednesday night for a 7:30 game.
