Individual grants include all types of medical care, but also for Bladen residents with special needs to be able to support themselves while receiving medical attention.  Examples include, assisted with a home ramp for a wheelchair bound child: assisted by providing funds to re-connect to public water for a family where the father was in the hospital and two youngsters ages 4 and 6 were in the home.  Usually, in those type situations, Bladen We Care partners with other organizations including Bladen Baptist Association, Bladen Crisis Center, Bladen Habitat, Bladen Free Health Clinc and many others.
Bladen We Care has served and continues to serve residents all over Bladen County.
The 2 fundraisers annually are the primary sources of income for the non-profit organization.  Memorials are also received throughout the year and regular contributions from churches and organizations in the county
Bladen We Care has no paid staff.  All the activities are carried out by volunteers.
This years Gala at The Venu will be “The Wear White Party” and will be sponsored by Smithfield-Farmland & Murphy-Brown LLC, from 7:00 to 11;00 p.m.
