Bladen County Commissioners G. Michael Cogdell was recently named to the 5th District NC Association of County Officials Board of Directors. The 5th district serves Bladen, Hoke, Scotland and Robeson counties.
Cogdell said the group will be working with the legislative branch of the North Carolina government to facilitate local concerns.
