The Bladen County Recreation 10-and-Under girls’ soccer all-stars begin play Saturday in the Statewide Activities Committee (SWAC) state tournament in Rocky Mount. Bladen County will face the Nash County Strikers in their opener at 10:15 Saturday morning.
Six teams will compete in bracket play through Saturday with the semifinals and finals scheduled for Sunday at the Rocky Mount Sports Complex at 600 Independence Drive.
Jeffrey Rogerson is the head coach of the Bladen all-stars. Team members are: Jayla Lewis, Jeniyah Whittington, Carley Rhodes, Hyleigh Brackett, Khloe Campbell, Zoe Hall, Harper Allen, Kenley Brisson, Bailey Fields, Katherine Thomas, Sully Peterson and Kinsley Parker.
