The Bladen County Board of Commissioners meet Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. in the Bladen County Courthouse.
 
The consent agenda includes the renewable of a professional service contract with Logan Systems, a contractor who provides services to the Bladen County Register of Deeds office, A Child Abuse Prevention Proclamation and the approval of a Performance Bond for Sheriff James McVicker, all routine business.
 
Commissioners will receive an update on the 2015 revaluation process currently coming to a close.  Board members and the Administration are anxious to stay abreast as they begin preparation for the upcoming budget process.
 
Cris Harrelson, Health and Human Services Director, has a couple of items for commissioners to consider including a Memorandum of Agreement with Every Teen Can (ETC) regarding a teen pregnancy prevention program and a Medical Service Agreement with East Coast Migrant Head Start Program.
 
The board will consider appointments to a couple of advisory committees and receive an update on HB518, a NC House Bill related to changes in the distribution of sales tax revenues.
 
The meeting is open to the public, begins at 6:30 p.m. and is held in the commissioners meeting room on the first floor of the Bladen County Courthouse.
