[Dublin, NC] – Bladen Community College is proud to announce the official accreditation of its Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program by the Commission on Accreditation of EMS Programs. This significant achievement follows comprehensive site visits conducted by the esteemed Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.

In the months leading up to the accreditation site visit, the dedicated faculty and staff of the EMS program, in collaboration with key departments, devoted countless hours to ensuring the highest standards of education for EMS students. Quality education is a paramount factor in EMS education accreditation, and the commitment to excellence demonstrated by the college played a pivotal role in this accreditation success.

During the site visit, the Commission’s review team engaged with faculty, students, community partners, and college administration, thoroughly assessing the Bladen Community College Paramedic program. The team provided positive feedback, offered new and innovative ideas, and even took back valuable insights. Notably, the team commended the enthusiasm of the faculty for student success.

Following the site visit, the Commission on Accreditation of EMS Programs convened and the board recommended the accreditation of Bladen Community College’s Paramedic program. The college has received official notification of the accreditation, marking a momentous occasion for the institution and the EMS program. This accreditation underscores Bladen Community College’s unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional education in emergency medical services.
