There is savings in store for anyone wanting to adopt a pet for the holidays. The Bladen County Animal Shelter adoption fees are waived through Dec. 30th in hopes all animals at the shelter find a home for the holidays according to Shelter Manager, Karen Suggs.
Vaccine fees still apply for adopted animals.
Vaccine costs are $25 for dogs and $15 for cats. The shelter will be closed for the holidays Dec. 23rd through Dec. 27 and reopen at normal business hours on Wednesday, December 28th. The shelter hours for adoptions are 12 noon until 5 p.m.
