The Bladen County Extension Service was conducting a tobacco marketing survey. The survey was mailed to every tobacco farmer in Bladen County.
Lt. Governor Pat Taylor announced that he would be running for Governor of North Carolina.
The Elizabethtown Rescue Squad, with the cooperation of Bladen Technical Institute, would be conducting a first aid class. The class would be taught by Dr. A. F. Pumphrey, Dr. Ralph Meinhardt and Dr. O.A. Barnhill.
