An elegant evening is planned for this year’s Bladen County Hospital Foundation Gala. The event, “A Night at the Oscars,” will take place on Saturday, February 24th, at 6 p.m. at Lu Mil Vineyard in Dublin and is a black-tie optional event.

For those who would like to sponsor the event, Cape Fear Valley-Bladen Healthcare’s Ashley Dowless said there is still time to get your sponsorship request in. Sponsorship levels are: Red Carpet Presenting Sponsor at $1,500; Platinum Star sponsor at $1,000; Gold Star Sponsor at $500; Silver Star Sponsor at $250.  For more information regarding how you or your business can become a sponsor, contact Dowless at 910-862-1206.

There will be a red carpet photo booth available for folks who want that added bit of glamour to their evening. Tickets for the Gala cost $50 each and can be purchased by calling 910-862-1206. The proceeds raised by the event go to the foundation’s efforts in supporting the patients of Bladen County Hospital.

Dowless said folks can enjoy the sounds of the band 10 Spot from Virginia Beach, Va. They  play a variety of music, from Motown to Classic Soul to Rock n’ Roll. There will also be an elegant sit-down dinner.

Dowless said that volunteers for the evening of the event are also needed. Folks wishing to volunteer for the event can contact Dowless at the Foundation office.

There is plenty of excitement at the Foundation office as the date for this year’s Gala draws closer. Dowless said the Bladen County Hospital Foundation is a very important part of the success of Cape Fear Valley-Bladen County Hospital.

“The Foundation supports Bladen County Hospital through equipment purchases, community benefits and patient and family support. The ultimate goal of Bladen County Hospital Foundation is to enhance the quality of health care in our community,” said Dowless.
