A two year old cat, female by the name of Lottie was picked to be Bladen County’s Pet of the Week.

She is very friendly and affectionate to people but this female doesn’t quite get along with other cats according to Bladen County Shelter Manager, Karen Suggs. The orange tabby has already been spayed and the only  thing she’ll worry about now is going to a nice home.

“Lottie has been at the shelter for over a month now and she really needs to get a new home.” said Suggs. The cost to adopt a dog is $50 and $40 to adopt a cat which includes the animal’s first required shots.
The adoption hours are Monday through Friday starting at Noon until 5:00 p.m. Donations of dog food, treats, toys, and cat litter are accepted by the shelter.
