Because of the heavy rains Thursday morning, we postponed the pipe replacement on SR 1712 (Lisbon Road); thus, it is open and will remain open until Monday morning (see below).
Upcoming Closings:
SR 1712 (Lisbon Road)
Beginning Monday (4/13/15) morning at 7:30 a.m., we plan to close Lisbon Road at a location 0.1 miles west of SR 1713 (White Plains Church Road). There is not a signed detour. Use SR 1713 (White Plains Church Road) / SR 1719 (Vause Road) for access around the work area.
Road Oil Update:
The road oil crew started on NC 53 west today; however, they started on the US 701 end and will work toward Cumberland County over the next two weeks.
Also,
I am getting word that milling ahead of paving is tentatively scheduled to start on SR 1515 (White Lake Drive) and SR 1316 (Tarheel Ferry Road) beginning Monday. This work will not require closing the road but you may encounter delays.
