Elizabethtown, N.C— Join us Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Elizabethtown Middle School from 4-7 p.m. to learn about the job opportunities in Bladen County Schools. All 12 schools will be represented as well as district departments including Career & Technical Education, School Nutrition, Transportation to discuss the various opportunities currently available.
“The job fair provides a unique opportunity for interested candidates to meet school administrators, teachers and department directors,” says BCS Superintendent Dr. Jason Atkinson. “Historically our job fairs have been successful, so we’re excited for this opportunity to meet potential candidates and be able to hold onsite interviews.”
With the Board’s [Bladen County Board of Education] approval, the district has an approved recruitment plan to stay competitive with surrounding districts. For any new staff member hired on or before September 1, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year, the sign-on bonus will be paid on September 15, 2024.
