Teachers returned to school today, and it will be the students’ turn soon! This is an important time for teachers, parents, and students as preparations are made for the upcoming school year.
School supply lists are available electronically on TeacherList.com. According to Bladen County Schools Facebook page, “Finding your school supply list on TeacherLists is easy. Just search for your school’s list on TeacherLists.com, then print it out or shop online through direct links to Amazon, Target, Walmart, and more. It could be the easiest back-to-school shopping experience you’ve had yet!”

The district-wide open house day will be held Thursday, August 19th. Each traditional school has set its own time for its open house. Bladen Early College High School Open House will not be held on the same day as the traditional schools. Instead, it will be on August 10th.

Tuesday, August 10th, 12:00-1:30 pm.
- Returning Sophomores and Juniors Orientation, Textbook/Chromebook Pickup:

- New Student Orientation, Textbook/Chromebook Pickup:
Tuesday, August 10th, 5:00-7:00 pm.
For the returning and new student orientation only, the student and two family members can attend due to BCS guidelines.
**Families should RSVP to Mr. Smith as soon as possible for the New Student Orientation.

Bladen County Schools Board of Education will hold their next regular monthly meeting on September 13th, 2021, at 6 pm. The location for the meeting is Bladen County Board-Education, 1489 US-701 in Elizabethtown, as usual.
