ELIZABETHTOWN – East Bladen rallied in the fourth quarter to force overtime, but Heide Trask pulled out a 65-62 Four County Conference basketball victory Wednesday night.

The Eagles trailed 42-34 entering the final period, but senior Ethan Hines fired in four 3-point shots to spark a 22-14 East Bladen surge. Guard Denzel Johnson bombed in a 3-point shot, and Eian Hines added a basket and a free throw.

Adonis Avery and Demetrius Wooten also chipped in with a basket each as the Eagles tied the game 56-56.

Tiyuan Ballard scored 5 of his game-high 24 points for Trask in the overtime as the Titans outscored East Bladen 9-6. Eian Hines tossed in 2 baskets, and Demetrius Wooten threw in another for the Eagle points in the overtime.

Ethan Hines topped the Eagle scoring with 16 points, and Eian Hines followed with 15 points. Avery tallied 12 points, and Johnson netted 9 points. Wooten finished with 7 points.

Johnson drained a pair of 3-point shots, and Wooten and Sadrique Ingram buried one 3-point shot each as the Eagles took a 14-12 lead.

Ballard scored 9 points in the second quarter, and Watson Orr added 5 as the Titans rode a 16-7 spurt to a 28-21 halftime lead. Eian Hines pumped in 2 baskets for East in the second quarter, and Avery nailed a 3-point shot.

Avery delivered a 3-point basket and a 2-point basket for East in the third quarter, and Ethan Hines popped in a pair of baskets to keep the Eagles within 42-34 at the quarter break.

Orr finished with 13 points for the Titans, and JaJuan Carr added 11 points.

The Eagles will travel to Wallace-Rose Hill Friday night.
