Heide Trask outscored West Bladen 25-14 in the final quarter to claim a 65-54 Four County Conference boys basketball victory at West Monday night.

 

Senior Jacquan London pumped in 19 points, and senior Tynaffit Davis followed with 18 points to lead the Trask scoring.

 

The loss snapped an 8-game Knight winning streak. West Bladen is now 1-1 in the Four County and 10-2 overall.

 

Senior Stefan McDonald drained a 3-point shot and poured in 10 of his team-high 14 points in the first period as the Knights grabbed a 21-17 lead.

 

Trask rallied to within 30-29 at halftime and tied the game 40-40 at the third quarter break.

 

Freshman Keshawn Lewis and senior Will Lambeth fired in 3-point shots for the Knights in the final period, but the Titans pulled away for the victory.

 

Lewis finished with 9 points, and sophmore Shaquille Johnson tossed in 8 points for West Bladen. Lambeth tallied 7 points for the Knights, and junior John Bowen netted 6 points.

 

The Knights will host Pender Wednesday night in another Four County Conference game.
