Cape Fear Valley announced Nurses Week is May 6-May 12.
Ashley T. Dowless, Director of Bladen County Hospital Foundation & Public Relations, stated, “For Nurses Week, we’d like to feature some of our amazing nurses. All our nurses go above and beyond to care for our community each day. We are very grateful for their service. Today’s nurse’s Spotlight: Julia Marie Pervine Ward, RN III, MSN
Julia Ward graduated from East Carolina University in 2011 with BSN. She has been working in the Emergency Department at Cape Fear Valley Bladen Healthcare since 2012. In 2020, she completed her MSN also at East Carolina University. She is married to Stanley Ward and they have two beautiful children; Madison and Sophia Ward.
