CLINTON – West Bladen junior Demon’tre Love placed 2nd for the 4th consecutive week Wednesday in the Southeastern Athletic Conference cross country meet at Clinton High.
Love finished the course in 19 minutes, 55 seconds. Clinton senior Cristian Ortiz (18:59) won the race. Knight sophomore Dylan Taylor captured 17th place with a time of 24:24.
Other Knight finishers were: freshman Bradley Yandle, 24th place (25:00.02); junior Antuan Martinez-Sanchez, 31st place (27:14).
Senior Adairis Jimenez captured 9th place for the Lady Knights in the girls’ race with a time of 29 minutes, 47 seconds. West senior Sarah Dillard took 19th place with a time of 33:33. Midway senior Hailey Happel won the girls race (25:42).
