DUNN – West Bladen junior Demon’tre Love finished 2nd in the Southeastern Athletic Conference’s 1st cross country meet of the season Wednesday at Midway High School
Love finished the course in 20 minutes, 37 seconds. Teammate Dylan Taylor earned a 7th place finish with a time of 25:08. Other Knight finishers included Antuan Martinez-Sanchez, 16th place (33:17) and Bradley Yandle, 18th place (34:43).
Lady Knight senior Adairis Jimenez earned a 9th place finish in the girls’ race with a time of 34 minutes, 52 seconds. Senior teammate Sarah Dillard finished 19th with a time of 39:16.
