Local veterinarian Dr. Matthew McIntyre recently had his 7th golf hole-in-one. McIntyre accomplished this feat at Pine Hollow Golf Club in Clayton.
McIntyre, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herb McIntyre of Bladen County, attended high school at Tar Heel and then attended college on a golf scholarship to Campbell University. After graduating from Campbell, McIntyre attend the veterinary school at N.C. State.
Herb McIntyre was an educator in Bladen County and Mrs. McIntyre was a nurse in the county.
