The East Bladen Eagles are scheduled to travel to Goldsboro on Friday to play the Rosewood Eagles in the third round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 1A football playoffs. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Tickets are $8 per person and can be purchased in advance at https://gofan.co/event/1236804?schoolId=NC2031. Tickets also can be bought at the gate for $8 with cash or card.

Rosewood High School is located at 900 Rosewood Road, Goldsboro.

Rosewood finished third in the five-team Carolina 1A Conference behind co-champions Lakewood and North Duplin. The Eagles are 7-5 overall and defeated Washington County 41-28 and Bear Grass Charter 48-17 in the playoffs.

East Bladen also is 7-5 this season and has beaten North Edgecombe 57-14 and Northside-Pinetown 25-18 in the playoffs. The Eagles finished third in the Waccamaw 1A/2A Conference and were second among 1A teams among league champion West Columbus
